Student Council Training
An active student council is a vital part of all secondary schools and is a method of improving the school environment for students through their empowerment. Once the student council members have been selected in schools, the service provides training to students on how to set up the committee, understand the roles of the council members and the necessary skills for each role. Finally, the Youth Liaison Officer encourages them members to nominate themselves for a particular role on the council and an election is held to appoint the roles to the candidates.
