Anti-Bullying Programme
Upon requests from schools, the service runs an anti-bullying awareness programme. Students are asked to complete a pre-programme survey asking questions about their awareness of bullying and different types of bullying. The survey results for that individual class forms part of the programme. We discuss how to recognise bullying, the effects on all the young people involved (victim, bully, and bystanders). What are the consequences of bullying both immediately and long term. Ways in which we can stop bullying and discuss each schools anti-bullying policy and how all members of the school can play a part to try to stop bullying.
